Leadership Montana Alumni Organization (LMAO) is a group of community leaders whose mission is to unite and network with current and emerging leaders throughout Montana. With its increased awareness of commitment to service, LMAO will energize Montanans to shape Montana’s future with enhanced leadership skills and deepened knowledge of the challenges and opportunities facing our state.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

The goals and objectives of LMAO are:

• To maintain effective communication among alumni of the Leadership Montana program;
• To provide a vehicle through which alumni can direct their efforts as a body when appropriate to do so;
• To provide continuing education designed to increase understanding of critical issues;
• To serve as a resource to local, state and federal officials and the public as a whole in order to facilitate greater understanding of Montana and its citizens;
• To foster community involvement and the exercise of civic responsibility;
• To promote and support the current and future class(es) of Leadership Montana; and
• To support, promote and assist other programs of Leadership Montana, including recruitment of future classes.
