ALUMNI IN ACTION

2019 recipients of our annual Alumni Awards from our Celebrate Montana dinner

In this edition of the Alumni Spotlight, we celebrate and give gratitude to the recipients of our annual Alumni Awards from our Celebrate Montana dinner in Billings.

Mike O’Neill – Tom Scott Award for Excellence in Leadership
As expected, Mike had us laughing along with our learning. Through stories illustrating the history and current strength of Leadership Montana, Mike reminded us all why this work matters…we’re developing people who are committed not only to building a better Montana, but also to building each other up. Thank you, Mike. As always…you inspire.

Tom McGree (’08) and the Men’s Retreat Planning Committee – Alumni Service
It started when this group said “If the women can have a retreat, why can’t we?” and it culminated with two days of meaningful work that will continue on for years to come. Thank you all for your dedication to this new program and for your service in building a better Montana. We all salute you. Thank you.

Hatton Littman – Alumni Leadership
Hatton has taken her work as a Gracious Space certified facilitator to the next level, incorporating this collaborative leadership model into all aspects of her work at the Missoula County Public Schools. She is a model for all of us on how to lead with strength and grace. Thank you, Hatton.

Sharon Peterson – Special Recognition
Whether she was in front of the room from 2003 to 2011, or cheering alongside us ever since, Sharon Peterson has impacted every single person connected to Leadership Montana. Her influence and impact as a founder and original team member is ever-present. Sharon, you have made a tremendous difference on this organization. Thank you.
