Message from president/CEO Chantel Schieffer
As we end another month of adapting to our collective current reality, a few things are apparent to all of us at Leadership Montana.
- Leadership matters, especially in crisis
- This global crisis is going to be with us for some time
- Every day, we have new opportunities to show who we are and how we lead
- LMT alumni are leading the way to the other side of this pandemic
We are proudly watching as many of you are stepping up in new ways to aid your fellow Montanans. Your stories of how your Leadership Montana training has helped prepare you for this moment in time include lessons on crisis communication, generative listening, managing change, building resilience, sharing gratitude, and many more.
We are grateful for each one of our nearly 700 alumni and the ways in which you serve during this time. We are grateful to be a part of your leadership story.
As many businesses and organizations are facing troubling times, so is Leadership Montana. Outlined below is an opportunity through Montana Giving Days in which we can all pitch in a little to have a big impact on the future of Leadership Montana. It is imperative that we can continue to be here to serve you, Montana’s leaders. To do that, we need your help more than ever.
I am proud of Leadership Montana and the ways in which we are innovating to support you in your leadership journey. I hope you will take a moment to see the many opportunities to connect and learn listed below. And until we can see you again…be well and lead well.
My very best,
Chantel M. Schieffer
