Under the Big Sky, Together

Happy summer, everyone!

I hope you’re enjoying these beautiful Montana days with family and friends—making the most of long evenings, wide-open skies, and all the places that make this state so special. There’s just something about summer in Montana that reminds us how lucky we are to call this place home.

As we enter this new program year, I’m especially excited to welcome the Leadership Montana Flagship Class of 2027. This incredible group will begin their leadership journey together in September in Red Lodge—my home—and a place I’m thrilled to share with this new class. I know they’re in for an amazing year of learning, connection, and growth, and I can’t wait to see where their journey takes them.

Before we get there, I hope you’ll take advantage of our LMT alumni events happening across the state in August. These gatherings are a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni, strengthen the relationships that make our LMT family so special, and help us give a warm welcome to our newest class members. Whether you’ve been an LMT alum for decades or are just getting started, I hope you’ll come out and be part of the fun. I’ll be traveling to Bozeman, Helena, Missoula and Great Falls. Come say hello!

Our LMT family is at its best when we’re together—sharing stories, building relationships, and reminding ourselves that the connections we make through this program really do last a lifetime.

Enjoy the rest of your summer, and I hope to see you under the big sky soon!
