Light

Hello LMT Family,

This month, I’ve been reflecting (pun intended) on light and its power in our world. We celebrate its rebirth on winter solstice, we string up brightly colored Christmas decorations, light menorahs and Kwanzaa candles and see it at the end of a tunnel in challenging times. It catalyzes cycles that give us life and nourishment, and we use it to construct time to begin and end each day. It influences our internal rhythms and moods. It’s all around us and within us.

For LMT, this past year has been one of darkness in lives lost and a shining light from all of you as we support each other. Even in the darkest days, there is always light. Thank you for sharing your light, leading others across our great state, and for your generosity as we strengthen our organization’s financial foundation. We are nearly halfway to our goal and midway on the mountain. As we enter a new year, let us all bring our light to each day to ensure that our path and future are illuminated brightly.
