Supporting Leadership Montana

Message from President/CEO Chantel Schieffer

“They’re doubling down on being better humans. They’re not looking for the safety and security of their echo chambers. They’re seeking relationships and conversations that challenge their bias, push their growth and help them be better humans.“  Anne Hughes’ reflection on the 2022 Masters Class, Class of 2012 and Masters 2022

Because of you and close to 1,000 alumni, Leadership Montana has had a remarkable year of programming and growth. With the addition of a second cohort of the Flagship Class, the newly created Indigenous Immersion Initiative, and the continuation of The Masters Class, more than one hundred twenty individuals participated in our annual programs. These leaders joined an amazing group of individuals that continue to enhance our communities, businesses, and families through their investment of themselves in the tools and resources provided by Leadership Montana.

Leadership Montana exists to develop leaders committed to building a better Montana through knowledge, collaboration, and civility. This is the mission of Leadership Montana. These are words that guide us as an organization in providing programming for our class members, alumni, partner organizations, and Montana communities. But in order for us to work together to build a better Montana and help bridge bridges across our communities, it takes all of us individually working hard. We see you and appreciate the work you are doing!

Montana leaders are making a difference, and Leadership Montana continues to be a valuable asset in the development, sustainability, and long-term success of our community leaders. We are only able to do this work with the incredible and generous support from people like you; individuals, businesses, and foundations committed to a better Montana. Thank you!

The gift of participating in the Leadership Montana experience is, in fact, that, a gift.” Carson Sweeney, Class of 2015 and Masters 2022

As a nonprofit organization, Leadership Montana depends on the generosity of Individuals, like you, in supporting our programming needs so that we can provide affordable programs for all leaders. This year, we are humbly asking for your support of Leadership Montana while we provide high-level programming impacting individuals making tough decisions and working hard to bridge divides and create better Montana communities.

Your gift today is an investment in Leadership Montana, our leaders, and the future of Montana. Your generosity means so much and shows your confidence in our ability to truly shape Montana for the better.

We invite you today to show your support of our work with a donation during our annual fundraising campaign and thank you again for your commitment to Leadership Montana.

Be well and lead well,
